Zarin has also led the coordination of various UN agencies for the Inclusive Economic and Local Development Program and contributed to the Rohingya Humanitarian project by establishing mental health and psychological support. Her previous roles also include Deputy Director for Advocacy and Justice for Children at World Vision Bangladesh. Zarin’s educational background includes a master’s degree in International Social Welfare and Policy from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK as well as certifications in Social Psychology and Counseling from Wesleyan University and Institute of Counseling, respectively. Zarin is currently involved in a social business startup named “Architects of Change (AOC) and MajhaMajhi” Where AOC aims to promote mental wellness by changing mindsets, and MajhaMajhi utilizes a creative
Approach to bring progress to Bangladesh. In addition to this, she is also an Adjunct Faculty for an MBA at the University of Liberal Arts (ULAB). Zarin strongly believes that real human development is not possible without a psychological lens blended with artistic creative work.
